Hi Jeff, thanks for starting a thread,

I work for the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo) - we are a
non-profit developing and promoting a wide range of tools, libraries,
web mapping framework and desktop applications for mapping and GIS
work.  Many of our projects are being used in government situations and
we're always interested in learning where/how they are.  I'm hoping we
can get some case studies or whitepapers to serve both OSGeo and OSA's
objectives.

If you need help connecting to the right people involved with our
projects, or if you can help connect me to those who are using our
applications, please don't hesitate to drop me a note.

Hi Tyler, Jeff and All,

I have been a GIS Analyst/Specialist (or whatever you like to call it) for
the last 12 years and have a background in Geography and Soil Science. I
work for my own small consulting company "TerraGIS" which is a GIS service
provider. We do everything GIS from cartography to web mapping with focus on
environmental, sustainable development and social engagement. Over the last
4 years I have been getting more and more involved with OpenSource GIS
especially in web mapping and also started teaching web mapping using open
source tools/software. I am a member of the CUGOS group (an OSGeo chapter)
and their education contact. I am very interested in connecting with others
with similar interests and help make this initiative grow and thrive.
